Favorite Five Loungefly Mini Backpacks from Boxlunch
Some people collect shoes. Not me. Some people collect mini football helmets. Ahem, dear husband. ME? I am forever a sucker for a cute bag. Bonus points if it’s a Disney bag!
When I travel, I like to have a bag or purse that is different from my everyday purse. That purse is huge. It’s like a 5 gallon bucket, really. I honestly like a store that has a shopping cart because it’s an automatic place for me to put my purse! Hey, I’m forever a mom and in dire need of being prepared for anything under the sun. Raising kids will scar you in many ways, this is mine. I have to be prepared!
ANYWAY, one of our daughters was recently shopping for a birthday gift for our other daughter and introduced me to all the Loungefly Mini Backpacks at Boxlunch. Big mistake! I am hooked. They just might be the perfect park bag.
A park bag for a Disney vacation is not a regular purse! And much like Grandma and her special china, my Disney park bag is only for special occasions, like a Disney vacation. And it has to meet the following criteria:
For years, my Disney park bag was a cheap, leopard print tote bag that had a zipper across the top. It was perfect in every way for a long time, except we were always vacationing in January. ONE day in the heat on our first June Disney trip, that bag’s zipper scraped the inside of my arm till it bled! That’s when I headed over to Uptown Jewelers on Main Street at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and fell in love with a very soft bag. My super cute hot pink Mickey Vera Bradley tote became my park bag for several years.
I do love the size and the Mouse design, and that it’s pink! But I’m only good at carrying it on my right shoulder, my left one just lets it fall off! Am I the only one with this issue?! And after a whole week with it on my right shoulder, it just isn’t as fun by the last few days. So now my daughters may have me shifting my allegiance to Loungefly. Have you seen the adorable things they’ve created??
My name is Cindy, so naturally the Castle is mine! You’ve heard me say that before, because it’s true. And anything Cinderella always catches my eye, but what I like about this one is the subtle design. This is subtle, isn’t it?
You know I have an obsession with the Disney Castles and we love Disneyland around here, so of course this one makes the list. Plus, it would be great on our next trip out to California. And it has a cute wallet to match! Oh, dear, this is not going to be easy.
When one of your daughters loves the movie Up so much, that her sister buys her this for her birthday! So cute! Can’t wait to see her sporting this around. I can even hear the music, can you?
This is just so cute, I can’t even stand it. I think it’s the chocolate dripping down the ears! Of course, it would probably make me want dessert all day long! Calories don’t count on vacation, everybody knows that, so maybe this is the one?
But you just can’t go wrong with a classic like Mickey. And I actually really love the gold Mickey head detail. The bag itself is a little smaller, which can be good for keeping me from carrying too much in it!
I do think these are the perfect size for toting around my park essentials, not too big, not too little. And unlike my pink Vera Bradley that gets wet in the rain or on Kali River Rapids, these will keep my things nice and dry. Plus as a backpack, it will leave me with two free hands for shopping, taking pictures and snacking on my Dole Whip.
Boxlunch and Loungefly, you may have a new fan!
Do you love any of theses, too? Which one do you think I should take on our next trip?
